Social Media

This blog is connected to
News story
I love social media and I think it is a spectacular way of communication, but sometimes I think that it dumbs down peoples social skills and grammar too. When you are typing you kind of just do it as your emotion, so if you're angry or upset, you're not going to pay attention to your grammar. Also people don't pay enough attention to what they say online. Now that it is legal for your interview to be what is on your Facebook or Twitter, people are realizing "oh maybe I shouldn't post this" or "I should delete that comment, it was not appropriate," but what they don't realize is that just because it was "deleted" from view doesn't mean it was deleted off the internet.
Network Etiquette

Reputation is important because it fallows you everywhere. It's basically the definition of who you are. It is something that shouldn't be messed with and someone definitely shouldn't damage their own reputation. I knew this girl once who was innocent as can be, so everyone thought. She went to a party and got drunk. That wasn't a pretty sight. She eventually went on to college but always had the conscience of that one night. Everyone talked about her after she left. She came back to visit and one of my friends asked me "was that that one girl that was at the party?". Reputation: Good or bad? You choose.

Responsibility

Responsibility Video
Can you identify the responsibility shown in this video?

I remember when I was about 15 I was responsible for making a picture slide show for my brothers wedding video. I loved taking pictures of everything and anything so my mom thought it would be a bright idea for me to have the camera for a couple weeks to get pictures and perhaps videos of funny times. I did get pictures and videos, but of myself. I realized about half way through the week that I needed pictures. So I corrected myself in doing wrong because I was not about to be the one to ruin the wedding I would have felt so horrible and probably would have cried, but thank God I realized I was doing wrong and did the responsible thing.

This is can be a good lesson for me to learn so I can show responsibility in my site school. I could get things done when I should and don't procrastinate. Say I needed to make a video about my students. I could start taking pictures from the beginning of the year instead of having to rush it all in the end. Also I could show responsibility by showing that I am the adult and that I need to know what to do, when to do it, and do it correctly.

What's up with that?

The internet is a interesting new way of technology. People don't understand what harm it can do for an interview for your dream job.
I'm not one to post provocative pictures or every other word being a cuss word. I am a moral woman and I respect myself. I know that I do post my emotions a lot on facebook and that is not what it is for. I know that I do have my flaws, but I DO NOT understand why in the world a girl or a boy would post stupid actions of themselves because now days people DO check your facebook or your own blogs. They CAN and WILL search you on google. They WILL find out things about you that you don't want anyone to know. Why would you post a picture of you drinking on facebook for your 300 friends to see, some of them you don't even talk to; for all you know you could be interviewed right now, right this second, so think about it.

I went to google and searched myself Apryl Delarosa and this is what came up:
